A small, cramped out-dated kitchen that wasn’t at all practical
THE SOLUTION
‘Our original kitchen was old-fashioned and worn out, and we couldn’t entertain in it, or even be together as a family. We’d always dreamed of having a kitchen, dining and living area in one big space, with doors opening onto the garden. Style-wise we love clean, simple lines, clutter-free surfaces and a hint of industrial style.
‘Creating the new space was a once-in-a-lifetime project and we researched everything, from appliances to lighting, ourselves. We designed the layout with free online 3D image software, and then chose the cabinetry from Wren Kitchens. We moved out for ten months, as there was so much disruption during the remodelling and extension build. Now we have the space we always imagined, with somewhere for everyone, and I love everything we’ve chosen.’
