The layout

Mark and Claire removed the dividing wall between the original living room and dining room. They reconfigured the space to enlarge the proportions of the living room, while also incorporating a utility room and a shower room. They also extended at the rear and across the original side return to allow for a bigger kitchen-diner and an informal snug seating area.
