‘The room is south-facing with views over the trees, which makes it feel really peaceful,’ says Anna. ‘Although I love colour, I wanted a clear and simple space to sleep in and we’re lucky to have a built-in wardrobe, so it’s not cluttered.’ The bedroom is painted in pure white with natural wood, black and yellow accents, and Anna and Mark’s builders made a shelving unit to fit perfectly into an alcove. ‘It’s not like me to have a monochrome scheme but it’s such a lovely clean, fresh and relaxing space to be in,’ she says.
