GROUT HOW TO BATHROOM TILES
Tiling can quickly look tired and in need of a refresh, and a fresh set, or just some fresh grout, will make you fall back in love with your bathroom in just an afternoon’s work.
■ If you’re using a powdered grout, pour a little water into a bucket, then add the powder. Using a stick to stir it, keep adding the powder until you get the consistency of whipped ice cream.
■ Apply the grout using a squeegee, by scooping it up and forcing it into the gaps between your tiles. It helps to work diagonally across a 45-degree angle.
■ The grout will cure once applied, so be fairly quick in wiping off any excess with a damp sponge. Wait around 10 minutes, then go over it again with the sponge.
■ Finally, seal the joints to make them waterproof and be sure to wipe away any drips as they may sometimes stain.
