Set a morning routine

DECIDE ON A SLEEPING PATTERN Most smartphone­s let you set and track a bedtime routine. Plan at least seven hours sleep each night and don’t press the snooze button when your alarm goes off.

HAVE BREAKFAST Eat or drink something within an hour of getting up. Your body and brain need fuel to get you through the day.

SET ROUTINES FOR ALL Ensure your family knows what their morning tasks are, so you don’t end up having to hurry everyone up.

MAKE THE TIME Give yourself plenty of time each morning. If this means going to bed earlier so you get your seven hours, then do it!
