MORE than 50 swimmers braved the cold conditions to take part in the annual Blake’s of the Hollow swim for charity.

The swimmers, young and old, fast and slow, completed the swim around Castle Island for two charities: Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus and the Marie Curie Cancer Care.
