Showband exhibition now on display in library

AS PART of Positive Ageing Month, Enniskillen Library is inviting the people of the area to remember their Dance

Hall Days.

An exhibition of Showband memorabilia is planned. The exhibits are all original items and belong to Enniskillen man, Philip Darcy.

Mr. Darcy held his first ever exhibition in Enniskillen Library in 2015 and since then has had 52 throughout Ireland. Recently he has exhibited in Navan and Mullingar libraries.

He is an avid follower of the Showbands and grew up beside The Skyrockets.

Mr. Darcy will be in attendance at the exhibition and will be engaging in reminiscence about the Showband era.

The exhibition runs from Thursday, October 6 until Saturday, October 8 from 10am-4pm.
