Live music, theatre and comedy coming up over at the Ardhowen

There is plenty of variety at the Ardhowen Theatre over the next few weeks with comedy, music and theatre all on the programme.

Just a few seats remain available for Kevin Mcaleer tonight (Thursday, September 29) at 8pm. Kevin’s hilariousl­y boring Uncle Colm persona in TV’S ‘Derry Girls’ has drawn a whole new wave of followers to his live shows.

The Tyrone space cadet’s legendary command of language, timing and delivery remains razor-sharp, and his timeless brand of pure balderdash is funnier than ever.

To music now, and Enniskille­n-born singer/ songwriter Annie Falconer performs her album, ‘Hole In My Soul’, in the Ardhowen

The singer-songwriter and pianist cites her influences as Kate Bush, Tori Amos,

Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell. “Annie is a truly inspiratio­nal artist. She embodies both the music she writes and the concepts she hopes to communicat­e. A true star in the making,” said producer Andy Wright. Note that Gallery Bar events are suitable for 18+ years only.

‘The Family Shark Show’ brings to life, the story behind the song on Saturday, October 1 at 2pm. Enjoy the excitement as Baby meets new friends on the first day at school. This production is perfect for families with small children aged one to six years of age.

After 17 years of internatio­nal touring, Toccata Musical Production­s are back with their soloists, orchestra and the Toccata Chorus in ‘Gimme Some Lovin’, in support of Fermanagh Women’s Aid, on Wednesday, October 5 at 8pm.

Presenting popular hits from Queen, Elton John, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, ABBA and many more, the concert will enthral you with popular Pop, Country, and Rock hits. Toccata are Cultural Ambassador­s of Northern Ireland, with musicians who have worked with musical greats such as Dan Seals, Elton John, Demi Lovato, Illayaa Raja, Gaither Vocal Band and many more.

The Years.
