Robert tops the podium with fantastic 44 points

ROBERT Benson was the big winner at Castle Hume last week as he recorded a fantastic score of 44 points to top the podium.

The Lough Erne Resort sponsored event attracted a large turnout of members eager to end the year on a high in this lucrative competition.

With his very best golf game on show, Robert could do no wrong and he lit up the course with a string of pars to end the season on a well deserved podium spot.

In runner up spot and making his name in the big events was Barry Mccauley. The Castle Hume star has been the master of outstanding performances over many years and has recently put himself into a strong favourite to claim this years Golfer of the Year title. A wonderful 40 points delivered with some memorable short game magic and outstanding putting has taken Barry to another level and a well deserved podium spot.

Completing the top three was David Lunny with a solid score of 38 points.

In the Gross Category, Fraser Mclean was again in dazzling form as he recorded 26 points to record yet another win.
