Excellent runs by local athletes at British Road Racing Championships

A number of Fermanagh athletes were in London last weekend as they represented Northern Ireland Schools’ at the British Road Racing Championships held as part of the London Mini Marathon on Saturday.

Mckenzie and sister Anabelle from ERGS, St. Michael’s trio Frank Buchanan, Charlie Rehill and Tiernan Mcmanus along with Ben Warnock from St. Kevin’s were selected as part of the 36 young athletes chosen on the basis of their performances on the track this year.

It is early in the season but there was still tremendous runs from the youngsters with Annabel Morrison the top NI finisher in the U17 Girls race while Harry Mckenzie was the top NI finisher in the U15 Boys race.
