Cancer Connect NI provides support with bra fitting service

OCTOBER is universally acknowledged as Breast Cancer Awareness month and Cancer Connect NI’S bra fitting specialists continue to provide support for women of all ages who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and have had breast surgery.

Advances in surgical techniques mean that many women no longer require a full mastectomy; however, this does not eliminate the need for professionally fitted lingerie. Those ladies who opt for reconstruction can also be accommodated.

The development of Cancer Connect NI’S bra and swimwear service has been enhanced by our partnership with Cancer Focus NI who have provided in-service training and facilitated the purchase of a range of good quality, reasonably priced specialist lingerie. In addition, Cancer Connect are most grateful to the breast care nurses in the Altnagelvin hospital for their guidance and support.
