Ballinamallard progress in Plate with victory over Tristar
Ballinamallard 3 Tristar 0
BALLINAMALLARD settled into this game quickly and played some great attacking football from the outset.
After a number of chances being saved by the Tristar goalkeeper, the breakthrough finally came in the closing minutes of the half when Braxton Mccleery’s well-hit drive found the net.
Ten minutes into the second half and the advantage was doubled.
Imogen Jones showed great pace down the left and her delivery found Zach Follis, who teed up Jaylen Mcmenamin to score his first goal for the club.
With five minutes left on the clock Follis rounded off the scoring when Noah Clarke won the ball in the middle of the pitch and played a through ball for the striker to ensure it was the Mallards going through to the next round of the plate.
