Landmarks to be lit in colour for key dates

FERMANAGH and

Omagh District Council are illuminating

Enniskillen Castle and Strule Arts Centre, Omagh on selected dates throughout November.

Inter Faith Week commences on Sunday, November 13, and to mark this both landmark buildings will be illuminated in yellow.

The week is an occasion intended to celebrate the UK’S religious diversity, and to strengthen ties between communities of different faiths and religious beliefs.

World Diabetes Day takes place next Monday, November 14, with both landmarks to be illuminated in purple. The theme for this year’s

World Diabetes Day is “Education to Protect Tomorrow”.

The International Diabetes Federation has launched a global survey to explore the levels of access that healthcare professionals and people living with diabetes have to diabetes education; for further information, see worlddiabetesday.org/ wddsurvey/.
