Enniskillen Sands to host a ‘Lights of Love’ service

-

THE Enniskillen branch of Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, is hosting a special service to remember babies gone too soon.

The Lights of Love service will take place on Thursday, December 15 at 7pm in St. Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen.

A spokesperson for Enniskillen Sands said: “As the end of the year approaches, we are offering a space to remember precious babies gone too soon.

“We hope the service of readings and music will offer a sense of peace, comfort and hope to those joining.”

At the service, parents will have the opportunity to place their baby’s/babies’ names upon the Christmas tree.

“We also ask parents if they wish to buy a present for the age that their baby would be this Christmas and there will be an opportunity to place this under the tree during the evening also,” said the Enniskillen Sands spokesperson, going on to explain that afterwards these presents will be donated to a local charity within Fermanagh.
