John and Joan take top spot with 63 points

THE rescheduled final day of the mixed foursomes was played on Saturday and the weather held up until the last couple of holes when the rain arrived. It was bitterly cold throughout.

The DJ Motorsport sponsored competition was keenly contested and indeed a countback was needed to decide the outcome.

John Kenny and Joan Quinn emerged as winners with a 63 nett beating Noel Quinn and Teresa O’leary on countback.

Gerard and Fanchea were third with 64 nett, Joe and Bernie Mccillen taking fourth on 65 nett,

The final pairing to receive a prize was the sponsor Derrick Jobb and Lorna Beattie with a nett 66.
