Moore’s triumph caps off series

Declan Moore delivered a memorable final Winter

Series winning round at Castle Hume as he scored 40 points over the extended 18 Hole Competition . With 4 Pars and perfect bogey Golf, the 19 Handicap Golfer was in sublime form and will certainly take this achievement as a great confidence boost for the start of the season.

In runner up spot also with 40 points was the hugely talented Mark Masterson who has been very consistent this season.

Completing the top three and making the most of his Captains year was the very steady David Mcquade. The 40 points also scored were testament to the quality of

Golf that has been played by David throughout this Series.

In the Gross Category,

Mark Mcconkey was again in superb form as he recovered a very impressive 34 points.

With the Stewarts Butchers Winter Series now complete, the overall top three Players who were recognised for their performances throughout the 14 Weeks were revealed.

With 49 Points, Alex Dyer was the top Player, followed by Mark Masterson, 43 points and Neil Mcconnell, 36 points.

Attempt number two for the 2024 Captains Drive- In is Saturday 16th March. Registration for all scramble intendants is pre-9.30am on Friday 15th.
