The ability to unhook fish quickly and safely is a skill that every angler must master out of respect for our quarry.

Disgorgers are as cheap as chips and you should always carry several in your tackle box, as they have a legendary reputation for going missing just when you need one.

One disgorger from Preston Innovations has a traditional slot at one end for smaller hook sizes, typically used the most, and a loop at the other for larger hooks.
