Rainbow matcha latte
BRIGHTEN UP AUTUMNAL DAYS WITH A COLOURFUL CUP OF MATCHA GOODNESS
tsp matcha powder of your choice (we
used Mermaid and Apples & Pears)
100ml milk of your choice (dairy or non-dairy)
tsp honey, to taste
Add your chosen matcha powder into a small bowl. Prepare your
water – it needs to be 80°C (176°F). You can do this by heating it gently
in a saucepan, or by boiling it and adding a small amount of cold water.
Add a little of the water to your matcha powder and whisk well,
ensuring that you remove any clumps.
When smooth, add your matcha mix into your favourite cup, then add the
rest of the water, until the cup is half full. Add the honey as desired. Gently
heat the milk, then carefully froth until foamy. Add the milk to your matcha
mix, stirring as you go, and ensuring you get a nice, big dollop of frothy milk
on the top. Sprinkle a little matcha on top to serve.
