School Philosophy: Dulwich College is deeply committed to outstanding teaching for public examinations combined with Free Learning, our extensive programme of learning beyond the curriculum, and to nurturing curiosity and a sense of social responsibility.
Academic Record: GCSE results: 9-8 grades 81%; 9-7 grades 93%. A Level results: A* grades 58%, A*/ A grades 85%. Pre-U grades: 100% with Distinction. After A levels pupils primarily go to Russell Group universities, including Imperial, KCL, LSE, UCL, Bristol, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter and Warwick in addition to Drama and Art Foundation courses and, more recently, Degree Apprenticeships (KPMG Audit). An increasing number of our students are choosing to study abroad in the US and this year has included Germany, Singapore and Switzerland. Extra-curricular: The Union of Societies has over 60 Societies & Clubs, many of which are run by pupils and include the Football Debating Society, the Engineers’ Society, BioMed Society, Francophone Society, and in the Junior School, the Time Travellers Club and Quidditch Club. Quirky societies include the Dismantling Society, the Read, Cake, Debate Club and the Yu-Gi-Oh! Club. Notable Achievements and Alumni: We are committed to delivering a sustainable plan that will reduce our carbon footprint through action in every area of the College: we have delivered 38 significant sustainable actions since 2015 and have adopted 6 of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
