School Philosophy: At Greene’s College Oxford, our educational philosophy is based on one simple assumption: if a student’s education is tailored to suit their unique qualities and needs, they are more likely to be successful. Our approach to further education is based on the principles of the tutorial method of learning, and fosters self-confidence, responsibility, and independence. Students have access to our tutors, academic mentors, and online learning resource, Greene’s Online, at any time, regardless of their location. Study at Greene’s College Oxford blends individual tutorials, dynamic feedback on learning, and one-toone weekly Personal Tutoring sessions to ensure all students have personalised guidance.

Academic Record: Greene’s has a long history of academic excellence. Since 2019, 60% of all grades awarded to Greene’s students have been A* or A. Students who have taken tuition at Greene’s in the last academic year (2021-22) have gone on to achieve above the national average in A* and A grades – 41% of grades at Greene’s are A* or A.

Extra-curricular: Greene’s Leadership programme o ers group seminars in a range of academic and extra-curricular topics to provide students with insight into areas that they otherwise might not have explored. Alongside a variety of clubs, students can also attend the Oxford Union - previous speakers include Morgan Freeman and Sir Ian McKellen.

Notable Achievements and Alumni: An outstanding example of academic success is one of our Mathematics students. At the age of nine, he entered the Guinness Book of Records as the youngest student to gain a grade A in A level Mathematics. Still only nine, he went on to study at the Hong Kong Baptist University.
