School Philosophy: At King William’s College we aim to create bonds of friendship and mutual support which will last a lifetime. Our pupils play an active role in the school community and the world beyond. We o er an education with academic rigour at its heart, endorsing the values and internationalism of the International Baccalaureate. This underpins the education of the entire school community. We support and stretch the individual, providing teaching and learning of the highest quality, together with appropriate support structures and an extensive enrichment programme. With varied opportunities outside the classroom our aim is to o er an excellent programme of sport, drama and music alongside a broad range of extra-curricular activities.

Academic Record: Success can be measured in many ways; in university placements, almost all our students go on to university either in the UK, US or Europe; in academic results, our (I)GCSE and IB Diploma results are strong and well above the UK average; in sporting achievements, our teams are competitive in a wide array of sport; in artistic performance, drama, visual arts and music thrive throughout the school.

Extra-curricular: Knowledge is vital, but so too are confidence, communication and character. It is important to learn how to lead, how to contribute and how to build. Whether it is a concert, a play, a debate, a trek or a match, what matters is participation and a willingness to try something new. There is a vast array of opportunity at college to try new challenges, two of the most popular are the Combined Cadet Force and the Duke of Edinburgh Award, but there is something for everyone.
