Tracy reckons Amy pushed Ken!
TRACY WONDERS WHAT HER DAUGHTER IS CAPABLE OF…
Tracy was already worried sick that her daughter Amy was responsible for the attack on Ken – and this week it looks as if the net may be closing in, when the cops suspect that Amy knows more than she’s letting on.
It’s been clear that the teenager has been hiding something since the day Ken was pushed, and when Adam decided to point the finger at her mum, Amy furiously took revenge by reporting her cousin to the police herself! Horrified Tracy began to fret that this was her guilty daughter covering her tracks – and her fears grow when Amy tells her that she hates Ken for refusing to give her the money to buy the flower shop…
“Tracy really does suspect Amy could be to blame,” says Kate Ford, who plays the anxious parent. “She wonders whether she’s messed Amy up and caused her to behave in a crazy way. That’s what Tracy is most worried about – if Amy is the one who pushed Ken, then it’s all her fault!”
Over at the station, Adam is facing interrogation by the police, who have found his fingerprints on the kitchen worktops that were only fitted on the night of the assault. Realising the case against him is building, Adam decides to change his story and admit that he did pay a visit that night to collect some money that Amy had left him. However, when the police follow up his claim, Amy tells them she hasn’t a clue what he means! Is Adam the culprit?
“Tracy doesn’t really know Adam or what he’s capable of,
That’s what Tracy is worried about – if Amy pushed Ken, then it’s all Tracy’s fault!”
so she isn’t ruling him out,” explains Kate. “He’s also been free with accusations about her, so she thinks he’s trying to deflect suspicion.”
Although Adam is still on her radar, Tracy is sure that Amy is lying to the police, and carries out her own investigation in her girl’s bedroom. Meanwhile, Adam rages when the police inform him that Amy has denied all knowledge of any money, and ramps up his bitter campaign against her mother.
His allegations strike a chord with the cops and they discuss his release, concluding that Tracy and Amy are withholding information. And as Tracy waits for another visit from the law, she is petrified by what Amy may have done to her grandfather, and instructs her to pack a bag in preparation for an impromptu holiday!
So, is Amy guilty? And will they make a getaway before the police arrive?
