SUMMER IN THE DALES!

Dales boss Iain Macleod hints at what drama to expect as the weather gets warmer…

-

Bonkers Emma has found religion in the months since she killed her fiancé, James – but the soap gods will see to it that a vital piece of evidence ends up coming back to haunt her…

“Obviously the

Barton story that kicked off last year around the big car crash is still bubbling, and the video that Ashley accidentally recorded of

Emma is still out there,” says

Dales boss Iain Macleod, reminding us that Emma manipulated Ashley’s memory of seeing her at the scene of James’ death. “It will definitely become significant as the story unfolds.” Of course, the tape in question is now in the possession of Ashley’s grieving widow, Laurel. So if she is the one who discovers it, how far will Emma go to silence her? Remember how hard she gunned for Faith when she suspected she had uncovered her secret…

FOR THE LOVE OF CAIN!

Meanwhile, bad boy Cain will continue to lead vicar Harriet into temptation! But is it really the end for him and Moira?

“She is the love of Cain’s life – however, there comes a point where you can only have the door shut in your face so many times,” reasons Iain. “What starts as a sexy, naughty affair between him and Harriet does turn into something more serious, which makes Cain question what it is that he wants from his romantic life.

“There’s also fun stuff coming up. A guy called Bishop Barry makes an appearance – and Harriet gets into trouble with the diocese to comedy effect!”

TOGETHER FOREVER!

As Robert reels from his ex Rebecca’s pregnancy, it’s not looking good for him and Aaron. However, Iain insists that true love will conquer all.

“There’ll be more thrills and spills along the way, but my view is that Robert and Aaron meant the vows they said,” he shares. “It was never going to be a straight road with those guys, though ultimately they will make it out the other side.”
