SARAH GOES TO THE POLICE ABOUT BETHANY…
Distraught Sarah begs the police to help rescue her daughter Bethany this week. But when an officer shows up at her home, it’s wicked Neil – the man who raped Bethany at Nathan’s party!
The terrified mum has seen a glimpse of what has been going on with Bethany, whom she found drunk and in a terrible state at Nathan’s flat. She’s concerned that Bethany is in real danger and so calls the police for help. But after evil Neil arrives, is Bethany in even worse trouble?

Street spy. “Viewers will recall that Neil is the one who led Bethany to the bedroom, demanding sex in return for cancelling Nathan’s debts. But Sarah doesn’t suspect anything out of the ordinary. She’s thinks she’s helping Bethany, when in fact she’s playing into Nathan’s hands.”
Disgusting Neil sits with Sarah and Gary as they pour their hearts out about Bethany being under the control of a much older man, and how worried they are about her welfare. Neil appears full of sympathy, and promises to help by having a quiet word with Sarah’s daughter – which is exactly what he does, in the sickest way possible…
Neil goes straight round to Nathan’s, where he twists the conversation that he had with Sarah to manipulate Bethany even more. She’s horrified to discover that her family have been bad-mouthing her fiancé, and Neil takes great delight
in whipping the teenager up into a frenzy.
When Neil takes her home to Coronation Street – still in his guise as a concerned copper – Bethany lets rip at Sarah, telling her mum she never wants to see her again. It’s a tragic moment as Bethany walks away from those who truly love her – and straight back into the lions’ den.
Believing he’s managed to isolate her completely, Nathan tells Bethany to say a proper thank you to Neil for helping her – and to their other friend, Ian. The poor lass doesn’t realise she’s the victim of coercive control, and that what is happening to her is rape. It’s clear she feels sick at the thought of sleeping with Neil and Ian – but with Nathan pushing her to do what he asks, is she strong enough to say ‘no’?
