“Nathan believes he’s a master manipulator”

IF HIS VICTIM FAILS TO SHOW, WILL NATHAN EVADE JUSTICE?

-

It’s the day of reckoning for Nathan this week, as he’s forced to face the consequences of his despicable actions in court.

But when his traumatised victim Bethany is kidnapped by Nathan’s cohort Mel just as she’s due to provide her vital evidence, will Nathan worm his way out of trouble?

“He believes he’s a master manipulator,” sighs Chris Harper, who plays Nathan. “He thinks he can wrap anyone around his little finger. I spoke to a female police inspector who told me that a man charged with grooming had tried to seduce her while he was being interviewed. Nathan is largely based on that story – his selfconfidence is delusional.”

By luring his former victim Mel back into his confidence, jailed Nathan has secured a vital ally on the outside. Mel is well and truly under his spell, thanks to his promise that they’ll be an item once his trial is over. So after he tells her to do whatever it takes to stop Bethany giving evidence against him, she’s happy to stoop as low as required.

“Nathan thinks that if he can get Bethany out of the way, he’ll be in the clear,” shares Chris. “He’s been manipulating Mel from prison, getting her back onside. Mel is vulnerable – she craves love and stability. She doesn’t have the support Bethany has, and Nathan has pledged that he’ll give her a home and they’ll start a family. That’s how he operates.

Nathan promises Mel the world, and needs one thing in return”
