Earlier this year, Legion set the standard for moving the

X-men film universe into the world of TV, and while The

Gifted isn’t quite as visually distinctive as its stablemate, there’s a lot that looks very promising in this new fantasy series. True Blood’s Stephen Moyer and Angel’s Amy Acker star as Reed and Caitlin Strucker, a seemingly normal couple who are forced into hiding when their teenage children develop superhuman powers.
