Michelle’s ex Tom continues to harass her this week – prompting Sharon to decide it’s high time she told the police.
With Michelle receiving creepy telephone calls at all hours, it seems that Tom just can’t take no for an answer – leaving the poor woman at the end of her tether. Eventually, Sharon persuades her mate to get the police involved – but can Michelle prove that Tom is the twisted individual making her life hell?
“Michelle can’t take much more of this,” says our Walford spy. “This stalker of hers will clearly stop at nothing when it comes to making her life a misery. At first, Tom would just turn up on her doorstep at every opportunity, then came the disturbing deliveries – and now the entire Mitchell family has been dragged into it with these mysterious phone calls in the middle of the night.
“Sharon is bang on when she suggests to Michelle that Tom must be the person to blame – and now is the time to finally call for some assistance from the police.”
Michelle’s brief romance with Tom began when she was still in a dark place after the humiliation of her illegal fling with underage Preston – so the suited and booted businessman sitting next to her on the Tube one day seemed the perfect tonic. But while Michelle was keen to begin with – even after Tom gave her the runaround – she soon grew tired of him. It was hardly the love affair of the century, yet it seems Tom just can’t let things go…
“Michelle has tried and tried to put Tom straight about her feelings for him,” sighs our
sneak. “They only actually went out a few times, so she really doesn’t know much about him. Viewers may have seen just how volatile he is behind that cool, calm exterior – but Michelle doesn’t have a clue. Perhaps if she knew what he might be capable of, she would have taken the decision to call the police a long time ago!”
When Sharon insists that Tom must be the one to blame for this harassment, and first brings up the idea of reporting him, Michelle claims that she wants to wait a while. But once the silent phone calls step up a gear, she soon has a change of heart. And when Michelle explains to the police everything that’s been going on, they agree to investigate the situation. Can they sort things out, or is worse still to come?
“Despite Michelle’s insistence that she and Tom are over, he has shown no sign of giving up on her,” considers our source. “So will finding out that the police are now involved finally force him to face up to his delusions – or will it instead prompt him to step up this nasty campaign of harassment?”
