Harry spills his biggest secret!
HE TELLS HIS DAD THAT HE KILLED AMY…
Tony is in for a doozy of a week – after his son Harry admits that he was the one who murdered Amy Barnes!
The confession is a bolt out of the blue for poor Tony, who saw his best friend Ste go through hell when he was wrongly accused of killing the mum of two. So imagine how sick Tony feels as his own boy lets slip that he was the one who offed poor Amy…
“Tony doesn’t react the way you would expect him to at all,” explains Parry Glasspool, who plays guilty Harry. “He just kind of shuts down – he goes quiet rather than shouting at Harry, which is almost worse. Then after a while the whole situation explodes, and Harry is kicked out on to the street.”
As the week gets under way, Ste returns to the village after his recent stint in hospital, and is delighted to be reunited with his kids. However, one person he doesn’t want to run into is Harry, so he does all he can to stay out of his ex’s way.
“Harry has missed Ste like crazy,” Parry tells us. “But he knows that Ste doesn’t want anything to do with him, as he’s basically told him to stay out of his way and leave him alone. It’s a horrible situation because all Harry wants to do is hug Ste and kiss him, and yet he can’t even talk to him.”
Despite that, once news reaches Ste that the cops are planning to exhume Amy’s body in the hope of turning up more evidence, he knows he needs to warn Harry. And that latest turn of events is enough to send Harry into meltdown.
“Harry is terrified,” reckons Parry. “He’s convinced that he killed Amy, so he’s certain the police will find his DNA on her body. He thinks he’ll be found out, and that’s it for him.”

It’s while Harry’s having a heated argument with Ste over his next move that Tony walks in and overhears their exchange. And after he gets the wrong end of the stick about what’s going on, Harry is forced to come clean about his secret.
“Ste still has a soft spot for Harry, and he blames himself for what’s happened,” reveals Parry. “So Ste’s saying that maybe it’s all his fault that Amy’s dead – and in typical soap timing, Tony walks in and thinks Ste is confessing to killing Amy! Harry wants to protect Ste, so he has to tell his dad what really happened…”
All hell breaks loose as
Tony struggles to get his head around the fact his son is a killer, and that Ste has been covering up his twisted actions for weeks. So will Tony go to the police and tell them what Harry has done? Or will he keep shtum, and protect his son from a life behind bars?
