What is Willmott-brown planning next?

-

Eastenders shocked the nation when the identity of the evil mastermind pulling Max’s strings was revealed to be none other than wicked James Willmott-brown from back in the day!

However, there are still many questions that remain unanswered as we get to know James and his ruthless family. What is Willmott-brown’s true agenda, and why is his clan hell-bent on buying up Albert Square? While his brother-in-law Hugo seems to be clued in, do his children Luke, Sophie and Josh know the whole story of his sordid history? And how long before W-B comes face to face with those he’s wronged in the past? Inside Soap brings

you the answers…

IS KATHY IN DANGER?

Many viewers were shocked by the 1988 Eastenders storyline in which Willmott-brown raped Kathy and was sent to prison. And his twisted obsession with her doesn’t appear to have gone away, judging by his creepy visit to the café in a recent episode.

“With the help of his family, Willmottbrown will continue on his mission to slowly take over Albert Square,” reveals our E20 insider. “A story of power, control, money and revenge will unfold as they attempt to destroy everything and anyone in their way. As for Kathy, she is definitely on Willmott-brown’s agenda. She is the woman he believes ruined his life…”

IS WILLMOTTBROWN’S FAMILY AS EVIL AS HE IS?

Who knows? While his daughter Fi is his woman on the inside at the Vic, it looks as if she may be having doubts over scheming against the Carters to get the pub. As for youngest son Josh, he appears so far to be the least in the know about the plans.

Meanwhile, recent returnee Luke – whom Max first met while behind bars – has joined Fi on the Square. But is he in danger of mixing business with pleasure, following his night of passion with Ben? Or does he know full well who he’s falling into bed with, and his seduction of Kathy’s son is all part of the plan?

As things intensify between Ben and Luke, we’ll see wellmeaning Phil ask his son to bring his new beau round to meet the rest of the Mitchells. How will Luke react

to that?

“What remains to be seen is how much each of those involved knows, and how far they’ll go,” trembles our spy. “Willmott-brown’s family members each have their own agenda, so can any of them really trust each other? Loyalties are set to be tested, questioned and exposed!”

IS MAX IN WAY OVER HIS HEAD?

Totally, it would seem! Max’s agenda is clear: he wants revenge on those who wronged him after he was falsely imprisoned for Lucy Beale’s murder. So far, it’s seemed that Max has been the driving force in this scheme – so how will he feel when he learns he’s merely a pawn in a much bigger game?

“Although Max’s intentions were grounded in vengeance, it was never clear who he was actually working for until he met Willmott-brown for the first time recently,” explains our mole. “He has no idea of Willmott-brown’s history and connections to Walford, only that he claims – like Max – to be a wronged man.”

ARE THERE MORE SHOCKS TO COME?

Of course! The current rumour is that Willmottbrown was the man Phil called a few weeks ago, implying he’d told a pack of lies to Jay about his dad – so what hold could W-B have over Phil? Some fans are even mooting that Jay will turn out to be Wilmottbrown’s son! His surname is Brown, after all… Is that more than a coincidence? We’re not going to bet Dot Branning’s life savings on it – but at the rate the shocks are coming in Walford, who could possibly say?
