I’m writing to say how much I admire the way that Emmerdale has made sure that Ashley Thomas’ death continues to affect his loved ones – especially how Laurel struggles to get used to living without him. It’s a much more realistic depiction of grief than you usually find in the soaps. Well done all round! | Allison, Hove
