AS STACEY WEEPS, THERE’S A TWIST IN THE TALE…
Stacey is in a state this week, in the wake of Mo’s announcement that Kat has died – but how will she react when she finds out that her relative is in fact alive and well?
In an effort to get the money to pay for a fitting send-off for Kat, Mo and Stacey rally their neighbours and set up a fundraiser. But as the event gets under way, no amount of cash could buy the looks on the locals’ faces when the bash is crashed by Kat herself!
“What on earth is going on here?” splutters our Walford spy. “Poor Stacey has been heartbroken by Mo’s news, and no wonder. It’s a huge shock for all those who loved Kat, so of course everyone on the Square is keen to help out. But how will they feel when Kat comes back from the dead?”
At the start of the week, Stacey is still struggling to deal with the devastating news of Kat’s passing, but wants to do Kat proud as she prepares to lay her to rest. Since nobody knows where to find Kat’s husband Alfie, it’s down to Mo and Stacey to visit Jay at the undertakers’. However, with no way of finding the kind of cash required for Kat’s funeral by themselves, the women are forced to reach out for help…
“They don’t get off to the best of starts, since one of the first neighbours they call on is Ian!” reveals our sneak. “Of course, he’s not well known for his generosity – so it shouldn’t come as a surprise when his initial offer of help is nothing more than an extra pair of hands for the catering!”

offering up the Queen Vic as a venue for the wake free of charge. Meanwhile, Stacey can’t help but notice that Mo seems anxious. Assuming that it’s down to stress, Stacey ploughs on with arrangements rather than asking awkward questions – but when Jay gets hold of a free coffin for Kat’s funeral, Mo’s reaction to the kindly gesture shocks everyone!
“Mo acting oddly is the last thing Stacey needs just now, so Martin asks her mother Jean to visit,” shares our insider. “However, when Jean arrives with yet another bombshell to drop on her daughter, there’s every chance she will end up feeling worse! So what’s really going on with Mo – and does she intend to admit her deceit before Kat returns from the dead?”
