Jai confronts killer Lachlan

There’s terror for Lachlan this week when Jai violently confronts him – is Belle about to discover Lachy’s terrifying secret?
Lachlan made a big mistake recently after he involved drunken Priya in his latest murder attempt. He thought she was out for the count when he tailed Freddy in his car and prepared to bludgeon the oblivious investor with a rock. But it looks as if Priya saw enough to be scared of Lachlan, and now Jai is hopping mad.
“This is a nightmare scenario for Lachlan – how will he explain his way out of this one?” muses our Dales spy. “Priya was drunk, but she’s not stupid, and she saw enough of his darkness to be frightened of what he’s capable of. Freddy lived to see another day, but Jai isn’t willing to let this go. He’s furious that Lachlan would terrify his sister like this – and he wants answers!”
Lachlan and Belle are at the Dingle homestead when the row breaks out. Jai and Rishi march in and demand to know why Lachlan behaved like that, and why he scared Priya so badly. Scrambling to cover his tracks, Lachlan tries to tell them that she has the wrong end of the stick, but the seeds of doubt are sown. Will Belle realise she’s getting in too deep with a dangerous man?
“Belle wants it to work between her and Lachlan, and she’s even decided to turn down Freddy’s job offer to stay close to him,” explains our insider. “Lachlan is relieved to hear it, and to find out Freddy won’t be investing either. It may mean big trouble for the Whingles brand, but having Belle beside him is everything that Lachlan wants and needs. She just has to convince him that he must let go of his jealousy and give their love a chance.”
It looks as though Lachlan has scraped through the Sharma row and managed to keep Belle on side, but somebody is on to him.

He’s spooked when he gets an anonymous threatening text from somebody who clearly knows that he has something to hide. Worse still, Lachlan’s phone buzzes with another malevolent message the next day, and it seems as if his mysterious stalker won’t be letting up any time soon.
So far, the only people with any idea of what Lachlan has become are Gerry’s fake uncle Terry, and Rebecca, who has lost her memory and can’t seem to access the terrible truth.
Have either of them decided to wage a mysterious campaign of terror against Lachlan, or will he find the source of these messages in a surprising place?
