Shock passion erupts between estranged husband and wife David and Tracy this week – but will their impromptu encounter bring them back together?
The former couple fall into each other’s arms again while tussling over a vacuum attachment at Pollard’s place. As they collapse into a giggling heap on the sofa, perhaps this intimate moment heralds a new beginning for the pair…
“Grappling with a hoover isn’t exactly the most romantic of escapades – but it seems to do the trick for David and Tracy!” chuckles our Dales spy. “They’ve barely been on speaking terms since David berated Tracy for her sordid past as a prostitute, and then slept with his ex-fiancée Leyla Harding!
“Poor Tracy was shattered by his mistreatment of her, and their marriage has been left in tatters. So this sexy sofa session comes out of the blue.”
Unexpectedly, it’s Eric’s need for a cleaner which pushes David and Tracy into one another’s orbits again. Since the end of her marriage also meant the end of her job in David’s shop, Tracy is keen on offering her father-in-law her housekeeping services. However, when she struggles with a vacuum, David steps in to help out his wife – and soon the pair start snogging.
“David might have broken Tracy’s heart, yet the chemistry between them is obviously still sizzling,” says our sneak. “As hapless as ever, David isn’t much use when it comes to the hoover, but he manages to work his charms on Tracy! As they find themselves kissing, their troubles evaporate.
“However, their marriage misfortunes can’t be forgotten for long,” adds our source. “Things have seemed to be over thanks to David’s behaviour, and he’s been kicking himself ever since – rightly so!”

After enjoying his quality time with Tracy, David gets his hopes up about starting over – and becomes convinced that that it will happen.
But while he’s eager to get things moving, it’s Tracy with whom the decision ultimately lies.
Can she put the past behind her, and find a way to trust David again? Or is it a case of too little, too late?
