The Mcqueens go mad in Majorca…

Grab your swimsuits and slap on the factor 50 – this summer Hollyoaks is going to Magaluf! Stars from the soap recently flew out to the sun-drenched island of Majorca in Spain to shoot a special storyline, revolving around the Mcqueen family. And it’s been confirmed that the explosive episodes will feature the return of Mercedes, following actress Jennifer Metcalfe’s maternity leave…

“If you thought last year’s Ibiza episodes were saucy, you ain’t seen nothing yet!” teases our Hollyoaks spy. “Wherever the Mcqueens go, trouble follows – and when the likes of Goldie and Mercedes are involved, you can guarantee there’s going to be some serious shenanigans going on!”

There could be some surprises in store, too. Hollyoaks posted a snap of the cast at the airport, ready to jet off – but who could be the mysterious faces lurking behind those question marks? We already know that

Mercy’s ex-hubby, Russ Owen, is due to return too, so could the pair be in for an unexpected reunion on the party island?

“The last time we saw

Mercedes, she was heading to the States to reconnect with her son, Bobby,” our mole reminds us. “We hoped she’d be returning with the little lad in tow – although a holiday with the Mcqueens in Magaluf is really no place for a six-year-old!

It’s much more likely that Mercedes has got herself into some mischief while she’s been away, and needs her family’s help to get her out of trouble.”
