Belle discovers Lachlan’s a killer
AS HIS GIRLFRIEND ASKS QUESTIONS ABOUT SAM, LACHLAN FINALLY SNAPS – WILL HE KILL HER TOO?

Lachlan flips out this week, when his other half Belle starts asking too many questions regarding the whereabouts of her brother, Sam. How far will the killer go to protect his secrets? Could he even go so far as to murder the person he loves most?
Homicidal Lachlan has been finding it increasingly difficult to carry on acting normally, as evidence of his wicked deeds has been creeping out into the open. This week, he faces an even tougher test, as he tries to hide his panic when the police arrive in the village to ask him a few questions.
“So far, Lachlan has got away with everything because no one has thought to connect all the dots,” muses our Dales insider. “Although Lachlan has seemed on-edge, the idea that he’s a cold-blooded killer is just not something that has entered most people’s minds. But now, things are changing. Robert and Priya have sussed that something is very strange about teen Lachlan – while Sam is about to be put in genuine danger…”
However, it’s not only Sam who puts himself in the path of the murderer. When Lachlan’s girlfriend Belle returns to the Dingle homestead, she’s alarmed to spot a bloodstained hoody, and she asks her secretive boyfriend what on earth is going on.
“Lachlan tries to fob Belle off, by telling her that he just had a small accident,” reveals our source. “But she’s not daft – she can see that there’s a huge amount of blood on the garment. It’s only when she asks Lachlan about Sam’s whereabouts that everything really starts to unravel. Suddenly, Belle spots something in her lover’s eyes that she’s never seen before – something evil – causing her to panic and bolt for the door!”
As you can see from our dramatic pictures, Lachlan initially tries to calm Belle down, but the two of them are soon locked in an intense and frenzied struggle. Crying out in anguish, Belle pleads with her boyfriend to tell her what exactly he’s done with Sam. However, she’s about to make an even more grim discovery…
“As Belle breaks away from Lachlan, she finally notices Sam’s bloodied and lifeless body lying on the floor,” whispers our spy. “As she rushes over to him, Belle can’t immediately tell if Sam is already dead, or horribly injured. And that’s when her eyes are fully opened to just who she’s been living with all this time – and she’s utterly
distraught!”
Realising that his lies have been exposed, Lachlan makes a snap decision and attacks Belle, forcing her to leave with him. However, he’s faced with a chilling dilemma. Up until now, the murderer has successfully managed to silence everyone who’s got in his way. Given that Belle now knows what he’s capable of, and will surely tell others of his crimes, can he bring himself to slaughter her too?
