TV presenter Angellica Bell picks her dream viewing…
Bodyguard was brilliant, wasn’t it? So well written, and Keeley Hawes was great. What I like is when a whole nation gets involved
– it reminds me of TV back in the day, when everyone would be watching the same thing. All of a sudden you feel like one nation when something really good is on TV!
I love Rupaul’s Drag Race. It’s not exactly a comedy, but when I watch it, I’m just laughing all the time, so to me that’s comedy. I just love how everyone is so over-the-top. I need some of that in my life
– I need to get my wig on, get some drama! One film that I’ve always loved is Gladiator. Russell Crowe is brilliant in it, and I also have the soundtrack on my ipod, so when I go to the gym, I listen to that as I find it quite inspiring. It’s very, “Come on, we can do this!”
Sex And The City is amazing, and because of watching that, I went to New York, and Michael [Underwood, Angellica’s husband] and I eloped there. Watching that show opened up that sort of life, and we both love it!
If I could be on any other show,
I’d love to be on Gogglebox. You don’t have to dress up – you can just sit in your pyjamas and watch telly. You don’t even have to leave your sofa! Low-effort and low-maintenance!
