Inside Soap - - INSIDE TV -

Chances are, if you’ve made it this far into an issue of Inside Soap, you’re probably the sort of person who finds family dramas interesting. Well, in the latest series from the BBC’S award-winning Natural History Unit, Sir David Attenborough and the team have spent four years following five of the world’s most celebrated and endangered animals in the wild, witnessing the complex family dynamics that rule them.

The series opens in the Kedougou region of Senegal, where a group of chimpanzees is led by their alpha, David. He’s been in charge for three years and is now at the stage where his rivals are ready to overthrow him. David has no allies, so he must play the politics of the group shrewdly.
