Leanne faces Nick’s secret wife
WILL ELSA BE WILLING TO LET IT GO?
Mortified Leanne is confronted by Nick’s wife Elsa this week – as the truth about his doubledealing comes out.
Leanne is hurt and furious now she knows that he lied to her about his relationship status and reconciled with her while still married to oblivious Elsa. Worse still, now Nick has bought Peter’s share of Underworld, he’s here to stay, and Leanne is going to have to see him all the time. So while the frantic fella tries to beg her for forgiveness, Leanne has some apologising to do herself.
“Leanne feels really sorry for Elsa – she knows what it’s like to be badly treated by Nick,” explains our Weatherfield snitch. “Elsa wants to face down Leanne and ask her why she stole her husband, but the truth is that Leanne had no idea she even existed and Nick hid the fact he was a married man. Will Elsa believe her?”
Meanwhile, Nick is also at war with new business partner and ex-wife Carla. Having played the Elsa card, Carla has no leverage over Nick – but when Elsa reveals that Nick took £40,000 of her money to do the deal, that’s something Carla can work with.
“Nick doesn’t need to be in the picture at all – because if he bought his share with Elsa’s cash, it belongs to her!” explains our spy. “Carla reckons they should cut him out and go into business together. It’s a tempting offer, and is a great way for Elsa to take revenge on Nick.”
With three of his wives all gunning for him, can Nick survive this whole debacle?
