Bored teens Victoria, Aaron, Daz Eden, Jake Doland and Scarlett Nicholls spent Christmas afternoon messing around on an icy lake while necking stolen booze. A row between Vic and Daz, who’d chucked her in favour of Scarlett, threatened their fun.

Festive fireworks

Angry Victoria grabbed a necklace given to Daz by Scarlett and threw it across the lake. As the duo fought over the trinket, they heard a sickening crack in the ice, and suddenly

Vic fell in. With her trapped underneath, heroic Daz jumped in and rescued her – saving the Sugden lass from a watery end.

Not just for Christmas

While under the water, Vic had grabbed a hand, only to find it belonged to a corpse. Her discovery was the remains of killed cop Shane Doyle, whose body had been hidden by Debbie and Jasmine Thomas.
