HAYLEY FLEES?
She packs a bag as Kat wins back Alfie…
Although Alfie is busy getting cosy with Kat, he also assures Hayley that he wants to help out with their daughter in any way that he can.
While Hayley is dubious about the sustainability of their current situation, she is grateful to have Alfie around, and the pair discuss potential names for their little girl. Later, with the whole family gathered, new mum Hayley announces the little’un’s chosen name. However, after Kat and Alfie’s romantic reunion, Hayley starts to fret, telling Alfie that she’s terrified of their secret being exposed.
“Hayley tells him that it’s the children who are most at risk of getting hurt,” sighs our sneak. “And she’s spot on – this isn’t fair. Alfie thinks that as long as they both keep their mouths shut, there’s no reason why Kat, or anyone else, should realise the truth. He’s clearly forgotten just what Christmases in Albert Square are like!”
Upset, Hayley panics and tries to call Jean. However, when her confidante fails to pick up her mobile, Hayley is driven to phone spiteful Bev instead! Sadly, her mum isn’t in the mood to listen…
“Bev hangs up on her!” gasps our mole. “And that’s the final straw for Hayley, who starts packing a bag. Is she planning to go on the run? And if so, will she take her daughter with her, or abandon her?”
