Leanne & Toyah bicker over men
IT’S GETTING COSY IN THE BATTERSBY GIRLS’ FLAT…
The bickering at the Battersbys’ is set to step up a notch this week, when both sisters announce that their respective fella will be moving into their flat!
Toyah is first to hit the roof, when she finds out Leanne wants Nick to move in…
“These two have only been back together for five minutes,” gasps our cobbles source. “It does seem a bit soon for Nick and Leanne to be turning back the clock and picking up exactly where they left off. Then again, Toyah is a fine one to talk, the way she’s been sneaking around with Imran!”
It was only a short time ago that both sisters were bedding the lusty lawyer – until they each found out that he was dating them simultaneously, of course! Following that stunning revelation, both Battersby girls resolved to ditch him. So it comes as a shock to Leanne when she and Nick turn up at the flat to find Toyah and Imran canoodling on the sofa!
“Toyah is defiant – as far as she’s concerned, she can see whomever she pleases,” explains our spy. “And besides, as she then casually mentions, Imran is moving in too, so Leanne will just have to lump it. The look on the older sibling’s peeved face is a picture!”
Later, in a rare display of maturity, Leanne realises that the four of them are just going to have to find a way to get along, so orders Toyah, Nick and Imran to meet her for lunch at the Bistro. Can the foursome put aside their personal grievances for the sake of harmony in the queue for the bathroom? Or will World War III break out at 12 Victoria Court?
