Will Mary and Roy find Jude in Blackpool?
It’s far from ice cream weather now – but that hasn’t stopped Corrie’s cast and crew from decamping to Blackpool to be beside the seaside!
Stars Patti Clare and David Neilson, who play Mary and Roy, were spotted filming on the promenade for scenes that are reported to be part of Mary’s hunt for her missing son, Jude. Does the fact that his anxious mother purchases three 99s suggest she will finally manage to locate him?

Jude fled Weatherfield a few weeks ago after his web of compulsive lies was exposed. However, star Paddy Wallace, who plays him, has explained that it’s not the last we’ve seen of Jude – so will Blackpool provide the setting for his and Mary’s final goodbye?
The trip is sure to bring back memories for Roy, who spent happy times at the coastal resort with wife Hayley before she died. But can he help Mary find the closure she needs? All will be revealed in the new year.
