We catch up with Annie Wallace – aka Sally – as she fills us in on Christmas with the Mcqueens…
Hi, Annie! How does it feel to be part of the Mcqueen Christmas episode?
Fantastic! I don’t think there’s ever been so many Mcqueens in one room! There’s ups and downs, looks and nudges – it’s all brilliant. For the past few years Sally’s been a little lonesome and I think she finds it quite funny being a part of such a wild family.
Do you think there might be another Mcqueen wedding on the horizon for Sally and Myra?
Who knows… there’s nothing
Hollyoaks loves more than births, deaths and marriages. So it could be any of the three!
How are you planning on spending your Christmas?
I’ll be at home, in Manchester with my friends. I don’t go up to Aberdeen, I’d have to drive through the snow and it can be treacherous at times. I’ll do Christmas here and then go and see the folks when the weather’s better.
Which soap character would you like to invite to spend Christmas with you?
I’d like to have Corrie’s Roy Cropper – my old friend! He would cook the most incredible dinner because he’s a proper chef. The food would be much better than at the Mcqueens’. Have you seen Mercedes’ cooking?!
Do you have plans for 2019?
I’m hankering to go over to the US again. I’ve been to New York and was asked for a selfie on the Empire State building – I was tickled pink! But next year, I would love to drive up the West Coast through Los Angeles and California.
