What’s the deal with Simone in Home and Away? There’s something really fishy about her if you ask me – and she’s clearly after Brody! Ziggy needs to watch her back or she’ll lose her husband!

I don’t fancy Simone’s chances in a fight against Ziggy, though! What exactly does Maya have to gain from her twisted games with Jacob? I get that it’s all about control, but it makes me feel sick watching her fawn all over him. Jacob’s an intelligent lad – why can’t he see that what she’s doing to him is completely wrong?

| Georgia I have to disagree with reader Chaz of London [Soapbox, from the issue of 26 Jan – 1 Feb] about the Jacob and Maya storyline. It is uncomfortable viewing, because it’s a difficult and challenging subject. But as for it being unbelievable, that’s not the case. There are many true-life cases of women grooming boys and very young men, and the fact that Chaz sees it as unbelievable just shows that this is an issue which people need to be made aware of.

And it’s a shame no one else has noticed what’s going on… What Maya is doing to Jacob is so glaringly obvious to us – yet David and Leyla are both utterly oblivious to what’s going on. I can’t help but think that Maya wouldn’t have been able to get away with doing this to a pupil whose parents weren’t so gormless!
