Hey Penny, congrats on your baby news! Was Tori’s story written in to coincide with that?
No, it was a happy coincidence! Tori’s baby journey had already begun when I fell pregnant.
So how does Tori react when Robbo tells her that he doesn’t want to go ahead with IVF?
She’s devastated. After all that she has been through up to this point, it is heartbreaking for her. She considers finding another donor, although she knows how difficult that road would be.
What makes Tori decide to go behind Robbo’s back and have the implantation?
Tori has gone through a whole series of unpleasant and painful procedures to get to this point. She reckons Robbo changed the conditions of their agreement as soon as things got tough for him, so she genuinely feels she has the right to continue without him.
How does Justin react when he finds out?
He believes that Tori isn’t thinking clearly – and he tells her that multiple times! She’s furious that Justin is taking Robbo’s side, and she can’t understand why he wouldn’t support her decision.
What advice would you give Tori?
Well, of course I’m sympathetic to Tori and her situation – but I’d advise her to tell Robbo her intentions. As it stands, she only plans to tell him once she has had her 12-week scan. But nothing ever goes to plan in Summer Bay, so expect some serious twists and turns over the next couple of months…
