Debbie & Aaron make decisions
DEBBIE AND AARON CONSIDER THEIR NEXT MOVES…
There are big decisions to be made for two of the Dingle clan this week – as Debbie considers moving away, and Aaron thinks about children.
Since hearing about the garage in Scotland that Lisa left her in her will, Debbie has been wondering if it’s the perfect chance for her to take a break. She’s been finding it hard to cope since the nightmare of Joe Tate’s departure and her rift with dad Cain. The garage gives her an excellent reason to start afresh and make a go of things, with her safety net in Emmerdale
still intact. The only thing giving her pause for thought is what to do about Sarah and Jack’s schooling – but her daughter is full of surprises.
“Sarah knows how miserable her mum has been and what a horrible year she’s had,” explains our Dales insider. “She thinks that Debbie needs a new challenge, and she wants her to seize it with both hands. What Debbie is looking for is somebody to give her permission to make the big decision – and Sarah’s going to be the one to do it.”
Debbie can’t believe it when Sarah pragmatically tells her to go, and that she intends to stay in the village with her granny Charity to continue her schooling. Debbie is touched by her youngster’s kind and compassionate attitude – which is a world away from Cain, who is barely coping with the idea of his daughter leaving.
While Cain is in torment about saying goodbye to his child, elsewhere in the village this week, Aaron is thinking about welcoming one into the family. Aaron does still want to be a dad – however, he’s worried about vengeful Robert’s current state of mind, and the money aspect of things. In a heart-to-heart, Rob convinces him that they need to move ahead with their surrogacy plan – yet Aaron’s not so sure.
“They didn’t make a great impression on their surrogate Natalie before, and now Rob has got up to all sorts trying to take revenge on rapist Lee,”

points out our gossip. “Aaron’s worried Robert will blow the whole thing. He can’t bear the idea of getting so close to his dream and having it snatched away again.”
Will Aaron and Debbie both take the plunge?
