Angry Cain sleeps with Kerry!
MOIRA IS DEVASTATED AS HER MARRIAGE LIES DEAD…
Cain hammers the final nail in the coffin of his marriage to Moira this week, as he shamelessly seduces Kerry! Destroyed by the revelation that Moira was sleeping with Nate – who declared himself to be Cain’s son during the course of a violent showdown – the heartbroken bloke can barely see straight.
However, even as the chemistry continues to crackle between him and Moira while she pleads with him not to leave her, steely Cain remains resolute – and Kerry is simply an unwitting pawn in his vengeful game…
“Moira walks in on Cain and Kerry together – and Cain just doesn’t care,” admits star Jeff Hordley, who plays the scorned villager. “As Kerry says to him, the best thing about separating from someone is that you then have a bunk-up with a stranger – and that’s basically what happens. Cain is glad to see Moira hurt, and for her to know exactly how he felt when he found out about her and Nate. Kerry is just light relief.”
The explosive consequences of the fight which finally erupted between Cain, Moira and unrepentant Nate out on the boat have left both Moira and Cain as broken as their marriage. While oblivious
Moira was intentionally lured into betraying her husband in the worst possible way by Nate, it has done nothing to numb the pain Cain feels.
“It’s been such a shock for Cain,” explains Jeff. “This was never on his radar to have happened, not for one second. He’s in absolute bewilderment, and so upset and rejected. He really wants to understand why Moira did this, of course he does – but he just can’t. He pushes Moira, and she gives him answers, although they’re not what he wants to hear.”
However, as Cain orders Moira to leave their marital home, she remains resolute that their relationship is still not over. Later, brazen Kerry flirts outrageously with Cain at the Woolpack, and when Moira later returns to Butlers Farm, convinced she and

on track, she’s horrified to find him entangled with Kerry…
“Both Cain and Kerry are really damaged,” says Jeff. “They don’t really care about what’s happened in the world – they want to fight against everything, because who cares? They don’t care. So they have this little one-night stand together, to help them get over everything that’s been happening to them.”
Moira is understandably floored by what she finds her husband up to – so has Cain finally achieved his cold-hearted aim of banishing her from his life forever?
