There’s a sticky showdown between Sally and Abi this week, when Abi’s blossoming friendship with Sal’s former husband, Kevin, hits a nerve!
War breaks out between the former prison pals, as Abi gets ready to sit her maths GCSE – but then abandons her books, and spends the night with Kev instead. And when Sally suggests that Abi is only interested in Kevin’s money, she ends up wearing her homemade spaghetti bolognese on her head!
“It’s not a pretty sight!” grins our Corrie sneak. “Sally and Abi were as thick as thieves while behind bars together – yet that’s a distant memory when Abi responds to Sal’s accusations by plastering her in pasta! But is Sally right to think the worst of her supposed pal, or is she just jealous?”
Abi first ends up in Brian’s bad books, with her tutor unimpressed by her plans to spend the night before her maths exam in the Rovers with Kevin. And when Sally finds drunken Kev and Abi hanging out together, she’s also peeved that Abi could ruin her chances of gaining a vital qualification. Fortunately, Sal manages to prod Abi into action the next morning, sending her off for her all-important exam with a major hangover. But after Sally puts two and two together and concludes that Abi is a gold digger, Abi feels a failure…
