Fiz takes Hope away from Jade
Fiz and Tyrone decide to take their daughters on holiday this week – to the fury of their manipulative arch-rival Jade. With Fiz having reluctantly agreed to let Jade continue seeing Hope, things aren’t going at all well between her and her troubled daughter, who is becoming a nightmare at home. This situation suits Jade down to the ground, and she soon does what she can to stir the pot. So when Fiz and Ty decide that they need some quality time away from Weatherfield, to let Hope settle back into family life, Jade is left frustrated and angry…
“Fiz needs this break so much – it’s a chance for her and Hope to reconnect and start to rebuild their fractured relationship,” explains our Weatherfield insider. “At the moment, Jade is the one bringing fun and laughter into Hope’s life, while Fiz is stuck being a disciplinarian and nagging mum. Getting away means a change for all of them, and Fiz hopes it’ll be exactly what they need. But Jade isn’t happy at all.”
The trip comes after another week of trouble for the family.
Jade offers to take Hope to a craft fair at the community centre, yet makes it plain that she doesn’t intend to let Ruby tag along. Poor Ruby is hurt and bewildered about why she can’t join Hope at the event – so in a bid to help Ruby feel included, Fiz takes her along instead. When the girls arrive, it’s not a comfortable situation for Fiz as she watches how Hope is enthralled by Jade. Worse still, when it comes to picking favourites, there’s a very clear winner.
“Hope is just a child and doesn’t really understand what she’s doing – Fiz knows that,”
It hurts Fiz when Hope says that she prefers Jade to her mum…”
says our spy. “But it hurts when Hope says that she prefers Jade to her mum, and Fiz has to mask how devastated she is by those cruel words. All she wants is her little girl to be safe and happy, yet Hope is under Jade’s spell.”
Will the holiday give the family the opportunity they need to repair, or will Jade find a way to ruin that too?
