Alya closes in on Geoff?
WILL GEOFF MOVE YASMEEN ABROAD TO ESCAPE ALYA’S ACCUSATIONS?

There’s another furious showdown in store for Alya and Geoff this week, as she works out that he’s behind the damning online reviews for Speed Daal.
But yet again it’s Yasmeen who suffers, as her abusive husband claims that Alya is troublemaking, forcing Yasmeen – still unable to believe that Geoff is capable of such a thing – to stand against her granddaughter.
So when Geoff proceeds to suggest to Yasmeen that they ought to make a fresh start abroad, has Geoff finally succeeded in alienating his poor wife from all those who truly care about her?
“Geoff’s vindictiveness is totally out of control!” spits our Corrie spy. “Alya’s well aware that something’s not right with his and Yasmeen’s marriage, and Geoff knows she’s on to him. He’s determined to come between his wife and her relative at any opportunity – and, worryingly, the more he wears down unsuspecting Yasmeen, the easier it is for Geoff to get his wicked way…”
When the bad reviews first appeared, Geoff accused Alya of being to blame for the flurry of customer complaints. But after she spots that a spelling mistake in the new menus drawn up by Geoff is the very same error in some of the bad reviews, she realises it must have been him all along. As Alya marches straight round to Yasmeen’s to present the evidence, however, Geoff is quick to turn the tables.
“After quitting the Bistro, Alya went back to the family restaurant – which gives her the chance to keep an eye on Geoff,” our insider reminds us. “He was outraged by her return, and immediately set about plotting his revenge by posting the dodgy reviews himself. And when Yasmeen insists that her husband would never ruin
his own restaurant, Geoff takes his chance to go in for the kill with Alya…”
Insisting that he and Alya can’t work together, Geoff suggests that she should sell her share of the business to him and Yasmeen. But when Alya rejects the idea, Geoff strops off – supposedly to consult a business advisor. Meanwhile, Alya is extremely concerned to discover mysterious cash withdrawals from the Speed Daal accounts. But then Geoff returns from his fake business meeting and claims that he’s been advised to sell up and move abroad – knocking Yasmeen for six!
“Of course, Yasmeen is reluctant to leave her home and her family behind,” says our snoop. “Yet again, though, Geoff twists her words to imply that she’s having doubts about their marriage, and Yasmeen’s mortified. But Geoff is going to have to work fast to talk her round – because Alya’s well and truly on his case…”
After Eileen regales Alya with the recent nightmare of Yasmeen being locked in Geoff’s magic box before he went out and left her, Alya is desperate for her grandmother to see him for the shameless abuser he really is. But as Yasmeen continues to insist that Geoff loves her, can anyone manage to convince her otherwise?
